Types of Ration Cards:-
There are mainly four types of Ration cards being issued to eligible households depending on the financial conditions & other things. These ration card types are;
- APL (Above Poverty Line) Ration Card:- This type of ration card is for families with incomes above poverty line. It usually comes with no subsidy benefits and food grains at higher prices than BPL households.
