PM Awas Yojana List 2024: The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a sarkari initiative launched on 25 June 2025. PMAY aims at providing affordable housing for all people of urban areas. Beneficiaries who are living in slum areas and hardly meet their financial expenses can apply for PM Awas Yojana 2024 through which a free house will be build for them. Through this sarkari scheme, government targets the construction of over 1.12 crore homes for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Lower Income Groups (LIG) and middle income groups (MIG). The free houses for EWS shall have a carpet area of upto 30 square meters with flexibility among states to enhance the size based on local needs.
